EduVOD™ Educational Content Delivery System

  • The EduVOD™ eco-system facilitates the download of digital content via satellite, terrestrial, IP or mobile broadcast networks to a server PC at distributed schools even where the school does not have high speed broad band infrastructure – extends reach across the country including remote areas.
  • The Receiver / Server receives and stores content to a local content library which facilitates learning material and lecture availability on demand, and is independent of an IP network or alternative content delivery system uptime.
  • Content from the local content library can be streamed to connected devices (tablets/laptops) from the local server in real time or downloaded to devices for later viewing.
  • Usage reports / feedback made available to be stored and forwarded on the device or reported back via low bit rate internet connectivity (3G or wired connection) where available.
  • Electronic Learning (e-Learning) is technology-assisted learning and teaching using a variety of digital learning media such as e-books and audio and video learning content.
  • E-Learning assets will be available on a student tablet or PC so that the learner can engage and interact with this content.
  • Interactive e-books allow for video and audio content to be “embedded” in the digital book, as well as interactive content such as quizzes and assessments which can be accessed via the e-book.
  • The results of these tests are stored electronically against the learner profile in order to measure and manage each individual learners performance and required intervention areas of the curriculum. This data can be integrated into Education Management Information
    Systems.
  • E-Learning content is widely available and covers most subjects and school grades, and has been developed by professional teachers who are experts in their field.
  • The system also offers offline e-Research tools such as Wikipedia, Ted Talks, and a variety of WiFi accessible learner information media for project research.
  • E-content can provide valuable assistance to the teacher in the classroom by giving learners the ability to view and / or interact with content presented by different teaching professionals.
